  i got hold of a 1st february, 1989 watchtower belonging to a ruth moschonas.

  (scrathing my head trying to figure out what kind of worldly attire could fit in a shoe box)????

  False teeth? She's 78 years old for gawd sake. Pull out a little flannel might she. I am not sure where her daughter lives since I don't know to much about the land of OZ. She has to see her daughter because she has been so lonely since Mr. Ruth passed on, she has been riddled with guilt. If only she hadn't faked that head ache. She would have been there to push Mr. Ruth out of the way of the train while he was coming home from the meeting. His hearing was very bad from years of the constant drip of drivel coming from the WTS. She has been in a time warp since that fateful day in 1989.

  inspired by stephanus's mysterious ruth and how the story is unfolding..........it would be kinda fun to start a story and have everyone contribute to it to see what we can come up with.. there are so many talanted writers on this board.. anyone care to start?

  i'm not good at starting a story, but will have no problem in jumping in.. any ideas for a story line?

  Inspired by Stephanus's mysterious Ruth and how the story is unfolding..........It would be kinda fun to start a story and have everyone contribute to it to see what we can come up with.

  Anyone care to start? I'm not good at starting a story, but will have no problem in jumping in.

  Ruth is not 60 something she is actually 78 yrs. old. She walks with a cane so she has trouble hanging on to all her liturature. They were on different seats because she dropped them down the isle as she was getting off the train. The next guy getting on just picked them up off the floor and threw them on a seat next to where they were on the floor. She was on her way to visit her daughter for a week. Mystery solved?

  N? 9-15 time 23rd Sun (sunday) 10:30

  7:30 PM Sun. Night

  I think she was writing the times for Service on Sat. and Meeting times for Sun.

  Given the fact that someone is reading a 1989 Watchtower and it is 2002, NEW LIGHT is a little slow in coming around there.

  ANYONE TRY HYPNOSIS?

  i'm considering trying hypnosis to help me win my everlasting battle with weight, but naturally i have feelings of guilt because we were told as jws that we cannot use hypnosis....... .

  anyway, has anyone here ever tried hypnosis?

  i would be interested in hearing if it helped you at all.

  I've tried it a couple times to stop smoking. Didn't work for me. But I'm not very impressionable. The key to it is to be able to relax. There is nothing synister or evil about it. They will just get you to relax and tell your subconscience what you want it to hear. You will not do anything you would not do if not hypnotised. No killing people or anything. You will go to the state of consiousness that you go to just before you fall asleep. You will be able to hear your surroundings etc. Try it! It works very well for some people.

  Strange Experience on Train - JW Related

  we were on our way into wollongong last night to see our youngest son in the annual schools choral thingo and went to sit down near a pile of abandoned newspapers (the best way to get a free paper .

  when we were about to get off the train, we found another watchtower, dated february, 1989. this one had the publisher's name on the top.

  obviously she was following this advice: "do you make it a point to write your name and address in your personal copies of the publications?

  hi everybody.. this is my first post.

  i have been reading the forums for some time, but have not posted til now, as it brings painful memories.. my experience with the jw's began in 1967, when my mother was killed in a car crash, and my father married a jw six months later.

  this will be our 4th xmas!

  we have santa and the reindeer on the roof, the front yard if fully decorated and we set up 2 large trees and a smaller tree in the house.
